Let's get you up to speed.

Here goes.

CJ just turned 2. He is a SUPER sweet little man and just plain loves HUGE. He has a really big heart. He is caring and affectionate, curious and playful and loves to make others laugh. He is getting started with a little trike and just barely getting the hang of steering and pedaling. He has a new Slip and Slide that he would spend 48 hours straight on if we let him. His mom paints or draws with him every day. He picks up books and sits in a chair all by himself sometimes. He requests a video most nights after he and his sister take a bath. His recent favorites are Mary Poppins and The Parent Trap. He seems to prefer watching people do things rather than animation. He is read to before bed and sleeps like a champ all through the night. He crawls into mommy and daddy's bed at around 7 am (usually taking daddy's spot) and requests milk. He has a gargantuan vocabulary and literally thirsts for the name of EVERYTHING.

Maddie is now 7 months old and her smile can soften even the hardest of hearts. You could show any square inch of her face and tell by that limited view that she is smiling. Her ENTIRE face explodes with happiness. Dimples, cheeks, forehead, ears, eye sparkles and wet little lips all work together to create (IMHO) the most beautiful smile on a little girl ....EVER. She thinks her brother is the funniest thing in the world and he will fall at a full run just to hear her laugh. I don't mean giggle. I mean full stomach, can't breathe, back of her throat, bang on the table LAUGH! She rolls around everywhere and is about as close to crawling as you can get without actually doing it. She is very meticulous with her hands and will take her sucky out and pass it back and forth, spin it, set it down, pick it up, pinch it, squeeze it and bite the other end. She loves to sing, especially in the car with her brother. They will both hold notes for the longest time. She sleeps just as good as CJ. She sleeps most nights from 9-9:30 to 8am without a peep. Every once in a while she needs a bottle or a fresh diaper somewhere in there but I am talking once every couple of weeks.

We consider ourselves quite lucky and blessed to have such a fantastic little (but growing) family. If this didn't bore the heck out of you, please keep checking back. We will try to update this more often than the geocities one. I think that it still says "CJ turns 4 months!". How embarrassing. heh.
