These pictures pretty much sum up how Izzy was for about 3 weeks following Sage's departure. Corey folded up Sage's old blanket under our little end table and Izzy dragged Sage's old toy in there pretty much camping out with her head resting on it. It was hard to watch. I never in a million years would have believed that a dog could grieve so much but I assure you its true. On a positive note, Izzy is much better now and has enjoyed this shift as she now gets to sleep on our bed.
