As the school year is coming to a close Spaulding Elementary hosted an open house for all to stop on by and see what the kids have been up to. I baked for the fund raising bake sale and we all enjoyed having CJ take us on a tour and explain every move of his days spent away from us. He is really growing up. Several times during the "tour" Corey and I exchanged looks and smiles with a small lump in our throats. He has it all figured out now. Doesn't need mom and dad as much as he used to. WEIRD!

Good luck with 1st grade. Thanks for the kind comments on my blog and right back at you. It is hard and exciting (all at the same time!!!) to let them grow up and not need you so much!! I really do wish you guys lived closer;)...of course, I think we might be COMPLETE emotional basket cases together...
