We decided to drive into town this time for our New Years Day visit to the Museum of Science and Industry. This place is a must see for anyone visiting from out of town. The combination of learning and fun made for satisfied parents and kids. The reason we HAD TO go was the Star Wars exhibit that was leaving at the end of the week. The whole family enjoyed it but CJ and I were in heaven!! Actual props and costumes from all 6 films were displayed. The actual Yoda puppet, Chewbacca costume and Land Speeder were all spectacular. A bunch of behind the scenes and cast interviews were featured as well as exhibits delving into the science behind or inspired by the Star Wars series. Simply unbelievable! It was a once in a lifetime experience for a couple of Star Wars geeks like the boy and me.
