Only two days after Bumpa and BB left our next round of visitors arrived. We were so THRILLED to have Gram and G-pa George here for a few days! We played at the house and the kids had a few nights of bedtime stories that were so magical. You can see CJ literally leaning on the edge of his bed with his hands on his chin listening of the days when G-pa george grew up on a farm followed by stories of flying planes! SO COOL! Gram had to re-tell the days of mommy and Uncle Dan spending time up at her house in Pentwater. Everythime I tiptoed up the stairs to sneak in a picture my eyes filled with tears at the memories being created. One day we all headed to the library together for storytime, we were lucky enough to celebrate Gram's birthday with her, give a tour of the new house, head to the Japenese restaurant for a very entertaining dinner, and we even fit in swimming at their hotel! What a perfect visit! We miss you guys already!

I miss our visits to Pentwater too. We used to have so much fun there with your Grandma!! She's the best. I was just thinking about that last weekend!! I'd love to visit that Japaneese resturant when we visit in Sept!
awesome stuff over there in your neck of the woods! i wish my grandma was around for those kinds of stories. {she'd be a better storyteller than my mom, i think} i imagine my children woud only benefit from hearing those stories and bonding in that way. i've gotta wonder if you guys are for real sometimes...everything magical happens at your house...and you don't even stay in the same spot! thanks for sharing!!!!!
