Memorial Day brought more pool time for everyone, backyard BBQ and a campfire with family. We also had the opportunity to hang out with brand new cousin Carson as he gets bigger and cuter every day. CJ has mastered underwater swimming with and without a mask and snorkel. Once he figured out that he could go underwater without the snorkel filling and come up and continue breathing, I don't think we saw that boys face for 10 minutes at a time. He swims to the deep end and marvels at the bottom that was a mystery last summer. Maddie also camped out in the water for most of the day and will swim with and without goggles and swimmies but prefers to skim the top of the shallow end with swimmies and waving at anyone she encounters underwater. Cassie has discovered that she can jump in with swimmies on and bobber right back to the top. NO ASSISTANCE!! Nervous hands within inches mind you. We are concentrating on making sure water is fun for all and letting them determine their own progress.
