We have a new champion!!

Cassie is our new Potty champion!! Previous title holders are as follows:

CJ: Day trained at 22 months, Night time trained at 24 months
Maddie: Day trained at 20 months, Night time trained at 22 months
and our new record...
Cassie: Day trained at 17 months!!!!

Once again, the most amazing part is how little credit Mommy and Daddy get. Cassie began announcing "My Potty.." about a month ago. We brought the baby potty in from storage and she took right to it. Brother, Sister, Mom and Dad would all freak out when she would declare her victory (we all got an M&M, which added to the excitement)and she continued to amaze with total lack of accidents through naps and outings. Yesterday, we hit Macy's, Barnes and Noble, lunch at Ruby Tuesday's, Lowes and the grocery store without a single accident. It should also be noted that when we ask if she needs to go and she says "no" we leave it alone. She tells us when she has to go and has been forced to hold it as long as ten minutes before we have an opportunity. We have even had a couple dry mornings in which she insists she doesn't need to go. Half hour later she comes out of the bathroom all by herself to bring us in to show the contents of the baby potty. New dilemma, we have two packages of #4 diapers and we use one a day at bedtime. Good thing they don't expire. We are so proud of our new little champ!!
