CJ turns 5 and Six Flags

What a kid!! CJ celebrated turning 5 with one heck of a full Saturday. He requested french toast and bacon for breakfast and for dinner, Dino-nuggets, curly fries and corn on the cob. We spent the middle of the day at Six Flags Great America and purchased season passes as his and my combo gift. Jen and Maddie made a volcano cake with the utmost attention to detail including smoke billowing out of the top with dry ice. We gave him his Heely's several weeks ago as an early birthday present so as to offset the pain of buying $60 shoes for growing feet. He had been requesting a few varied but specific gifts for his birthday for some time, a remote control tarantula, sports headband and wristbands and the Pancake Puffs kit as seen on TV.

He was crazy about a few roller coasters including one with 4 upside down loops and was up for the Batman: Dark Knight coaster but it doesn't open for another 3 days. I simply can't believe our first baby boy is 5 years old!!
