We are fortunate to be a short walk from a few fantastic parks. Having left our playset in our huge sandbox in Muskegon for the next owner who will hopefully be walking through any day now (please) the kids need an outlet for energy and an opportunity for fresh air daily.

The "potty" refers to our little "Deeds" (derived from Cassidy to Cassideeders to Deeds) who has been showing a lot of interest and a little success with the big girl potty. As always, our first step is to simply allow them to sit on the potty and watch a show or read so they will not be intimidated by it. We were surprised when she tugged at her diaper and said "uh oh" as she lifted the lid. Our record is 20 months through the day and 22 months through the night with Maddie. CJ was not too far behind with 22 months through the day and 24 months through the night so we are hoping she will fall in right around that schedule.
