Having been delighted with the experience of our first three births, the introduction of new doctors and hospitals was bittersweet. We can't say enough good things about Dr. David, Dr.Galvin and the wonderful Hackley Family Birth Place. We would and have wholeheartedly recommended all three to family and friends. Upon touring the Waud Family Maternity Center at Lake Forest hospital we were simply blown away. The grounds and staff were impeccable. Here is an excerpt from their site that I can tell you is not an exaggeration.

Set within 160 acres of rolling woods and featuring all-private, individually decorated birthing suites, the family-centered maternity center located in the Hunter Family Center for Women’s Health—radiates warmth, caring and peace of mind. Each birthing suite offers a home-like setting, yet discreetly tucked away are the latest tools for pain management, fetal monitoring and maternal care.

We will visit again now that the weather has started to warm and take more pictures. We need to clock that drive and come up with 2-14 alternate routes. You never can be too prepared.
