A wonderfully baby-porridge day (get it? Not too hot, not too cold) brought us to the Lincoln Park Zoo per Jen's Mother's Day request. The animals were incredibly playful and seemed happy to be outside and seeing people. Jen's insatiable urge to pet bears solidified my fear that she will one day be mauled by a wild beast that was simply a fuzzy but misunderstood creature by her estimation.
