Labor Day Weekend

We had a 3 day holiday weekend to fill and could think of nothing more gratifying than a good old relaxing family weekend. Art, baking, games, bike riding, etc. We took a trip to Maddie's preschool playground to get her used to it and heard some screeching and crashing. We walked across the park to see a crash-up derby across the street at a body shop. We weren't sure how "official" it was but everyone was wearing a helmet and someone was starting a repave job on the other side of the lot. We maintained a safe distance and proceeded to watch about 18 "car accidents" in a row. When only one car was left moving, a winner was declared. Gotta love free entertainment, eh? We finished the evening with the The Chronicles of Narnia and a sleepover. Wonderful weekend.
