I am not a huge fan of televised sports but I REALLY enjoy going to a game in person. Uncomfortable seats, $5 dollar beers and all. Kim and Steve offered 4 tickets to us and I was pleased to be able to combine business with pleasure. A couple clients, my boss and I made our way FAR north to Green Bay for the Packers vs. the Tennessee Titans. This was the same weekend as the Harley Davidson birthday celebration so it was difficult to obtain lodging to say the least. I think there were 4 bikes for every car on the road that day. One of my clients is from Israel and was quite unfamiliar with American Football. I did my best to relay what I picked up being a 2nd string lineman and special-teams player in high school (which meant a LOT of observation). We both missed the second touchdown because we didn't want to miss our chance to keep the beach ball in the air. Thank heaven for instant replay. I have been to quite a few football games through the years including one right on the sidelines at Spartan Stadium and a few at U of M's "Big House". I would have to list Lambeau Field as a "must see" for even a casual football fan. This place was packed full of energetic and friendly Packers fans. Even a few Jets #4 jerseys were met with mild grins. Nate and I finished the night at a family friendly Howard Johnsons featuring bar games, mini-bowling and plenty of fried food options. Thanks again to Kim and Steve for the great opportunity. Pics are from my phone, not great quality.

Have I told you lately that I love you? ;-D I absolutely love that you took photos on a guys outing to a football game and blogged about it. That's why we get along so well. I'm not a huge football fan except for the Saturdays I spend rooting for the Lakers and the Spartans but there's something special about being in the stands, sporting the team colors and cheering! I'm so excited for next Saturday when we'll be at MSU in our cheap seats. I'll have my camera and probably drive everyone nuts as usual. Go Team!
jealous, again
