Maddie Dentist and the Girls

Several months ago, during our visit to Disneyworld, Maddie fell and chipped a tooth. We were advised to keep and eye on it for activity or discoloration but otherwise just wait it out a few years until she lost the tooth. We noticed a blister on her upper gum and had it looked at. We went to a Pediatric Dentist in Lake Forest that was highly recommended and not only did he fix her infection, he free-handed the missing portion of her tooth. The staff does a wonderful job with kids, allowing them to get used to the environment and pick out a movie or video game to play on a big flat screen after picking the ketchup, mustard or pickle chair. Maddie is so mature for a 3 year old that we sometimes forget she isn't CJ's twin. She drew compliments from Dr. Joe and staff for being a fantastic patient. After the gas wore off, without provocation, she explored the now familiar jagged edge of her front tooth that was obviously more bothersome than she let on and exclaimed "He fixed my tooth!!" Happy girl makes for happy Mom and Dad.
