Work and Play - Chicago Indoor Racing

OK, I assure you I am not losing touch with the "Follow the Lallo's" readers. I try not to stray from the formula of our wonderful kids having fun. So, if you will indulge me yet another time I will make it brief and get back to the usual. I have been fortunate to represent my company on a project for GE Healthcare with an incredibly culturally diverse and motivated team who's unofficial slogan is "Work Hard, Play Hard". They make switching contexts very easy and epitomize teamwork without the usual hotshots. I am really enjoying the opportunity and environment although the first few weeks were "drinking from the firehose" as it was explained to me. Anyway, one of the "play hard" portions was brunch at the Signature Room at the Hancock Building in Chicago followed by Chicago Indoor Racing. You could call it Go-Carts but that would fail to describe how serious these things were. Phenomenal! One team member utilized his weekend racing experience(with full size cars) to completely dominate.
